Health and Medical Customer Service Standard for RV Dealership Discussion

Health and Medical Customer Service Standard for RV Dealership Discussion

Description

You have recently been hired as the new Customer Service Manager for a small recreational vehicle dealership. The dealership prides itself on word-of-mouth marketing and being “family” orientated. As the new Customer Service Manager, your role is to oversee a new initiative for building the customer service database through a new customer relationship program.

Instructions

You have been asked by leadership to create a report outlining the new customer relationship program for the dealership. With customer satisfaction being the primary goal for repeat business, you have been tasked with addressing the following in your report:

Define a Standard of Customer Service for the RV dealership.

Evaluate the five needs of customers (service, price, quality, action, and appreciation) and their significance to the dealership’s customer service standards.

  • Analyze techniques for exceeding customers’ expectations and detail how each technique could be used in the dealership’s Standards of Customer Service initiative.

RVs are most commonly used for living quarters while traveling. People may choose to take a road trip in their RV and use the RV to sleep in, rather than a hotel room. They may even decide to tow their car from the back of the RV[7] so they can use that to travel around easier when they reach their destination.

Although the most common usage of an RV is as temporary accommodation when traveling, some people use an RV as their main residence. In the United States and Canada, traveling south each winter to a warmer climate is referred to as snowbirding. In Australia, the slang term for a retired person who travels in a recreational vehicle is a “grey nomad”.[8]

Living in an RV has become increasingly popular. In fact, one million Americans live in an RV.[9] While it is legal in all of the United States to live in an RV, there are laws around where you can park your RV and how long it can be parked for in certain areas.[citation needed]

Some owners fit solar panels to the roof of their RV.[10]

Usage of RVs is common at rural festivals such as Burning Man.[11]

Moisture and condensation
Moisture is a common problem in RVs. Moisture can result from breathing by the inhabitants as well as water vapor from cooking or drying of clothes. Rain water entering the RV can also be a cause.

High humidity can result in a poor indoor climate. In addition, moisture will often condense on windows since they are usually the coldest surfaces inside the vehicle. The condensation may then drip down into the wall in case the window frame is not sufficiently waterproof, potentially causing a growth of mold.

Aeration, ventilation, and heating are used to combat moisture. Cooking and drying clothes outdoors may also help. Dehumidifiers can be used to lower the humidity, but will not remove the underlying cause and as such can be viewed as a temporary solution. Extra thermal insulation is seldom a practical solution in RVs since there usually isn’t enough space to make the insulation thick enough to prevent condensation and associated mold growth.

Plagiarism is highly prohibited. Please ensure you are citing your sources correctly using APA 7th edition. All assignments including discussion posts should be formatted in APA with the appropriate spacing, font, margin, and indents. I have attached a sample paper in APA format and will also post sample discussion responses in subsequent announcements.

Your initial discussion post should be a minimum of 200 words and response posts should be a minimum of 150 words. Be advised that I grade based on quality and not necessarily the number of words you post. A minimum of TWO references should be used for your initial post. For your response post, you do not need references as personal experiences would count as response posts. If you however cite anything from the literature for your response post, it is required that you cite your reference. You should include a minimum of THREE references for papers in this course. Please note that references should be no more than 5 years old except recommended as a resource for the class. Furthermore, for each discussion board question, you need ONE initial substantive response and TWO substantive responses to either your classmates or your instructor for a total of THREE responses. There are TWO discussion questions each week, hence, you need a total minimum of SIX discussion posts for each week. I usually post a discussion question each week. You could also respond to these as it would count towards your required SIX discussion posts for the week.

I understand this is a lot of information to cover in 5 weeks, however, the Bible says in Philippians 4:13 that we can do all things through Christ that strengthens us. Even in times like this, we are encouraged by God’s word that we have that ability in us to succeed with His strength. I pray that each and every one of you receives strength for this course and life generally as we navigate through this pandemic that is shaking our world today. Relax and enjoy the course!
