Inter-professional collaboration acts to the favor of nurses and patients alike, and it helps foster trust and respect across different health providers, improving overall quality care (Schmidt, 2016). Communication strategies that would ensure nurses have access to resources as well as carry out accurate diagnosis entirely lies in the collaboration between nurses and a baccalaureate nurse (Thomson, Outram, Gilligan & Levett-Jones, 2015).
