The option chosen for this assignment is option one. In this option, the organizations will focus on targeting the aged population. This population is an untapped market for healthcare because they suffer from several illnesses. Mitigating this illness will not only be good for the patients but also for the hospital because it will provide a constant revenue stream. There are several services that healthcare organizations can offer. Our community healthcare organization offers several services to the community. However, the organization has not exploited the growing numbers of the aged population. These people need care, which can be offered through the development of a nursing home. Whereas some of these old patients would prefer to be taken care off in their homes, Home care has important benefits compared with alternatives. For example, compared with recuperating alone, receiving nurse-directed home care after hospitalization is associated with longer life and a lower risk of being readmitted back into the hospital, according to a study in the Journal of the American Geriatrics Society. As for the others that do not have people to take care of them at home we can offer the assisted living facilities, with their wide range of services, it can provide a senior housing solution for adults who can live independently, but also require some assistance. For many seniors, assisted living provides just the level of care they need to flourish and triumph in their new phase of life. As a result, the need for caregivers for this population has risen in the last few years. As a result, the healthcare organization has the potential to grow and at the same time help the community to take care of this population.
