Welcome to your final assessment. In this assessment you will be using the Pathbrite ePortfolio link in your course room to create your own professional electronic portfolio. What is so wonderful about this assessment is that you will be able to take this link with you, after you graduate, to show future employers as you apply for new jobs or promotions. The professional ePortfolio showcases your growth and achievement over the course of your BSN program. It is a tool to help you advance in your career, and a means to consider the next step in your career journey. By developing your ePortfolio, you can come to a better understanding of your accomplishments and illustrate your own professional standards and values. A well-crafted ePortfolio can be a differentiator in job searches and when advocating for new career opportunities or promotions.

For his assessment, your ePortfolio will focus on showcasing your growth and accomplishments in the following course competencies:

Competency 1: Lead people and processes to improve patient, systems, and population outcomes.
Competency 3: Transform processes to improve quality, enhance patient safety, and reduce the cost of care.

Competency 6: Collaborate interprofessionally to improve patient and population outcomes. Competency 8: Integrate professional standards and values into practice.

For each competency, complete the following in your ePortfolio:

Create an area in your ePortfolio for the competency. Select the two artifacts (assessment, video, awards, memberships or any other items from your past and current professional career) that you feel best showcases your accomplishments or growth in terms of the competency and place it in the corresponding ePortfolio area. Write a 2–3 paragraph explanation detailing how your chosen artifacts demonstrate your accomplishments or growth of the competency. This should help viewers, such as employers or interviewers, understand your achievements and strengths. Place this in the corresponding ePortfolio area with your chosen artifacts.

For the Competency 8 section of your ePortfolio, you will also be required to include a professional resume that showcases your professional standards and values (including an update to the education section for completing your BSN program!)

Please remember to make your ePortfolio public so it can be reviewed and assessed.

You have three opportunities to complete this assessment to achieve a basic or above on all scoring guide criteria.
