As a law enforcement officer, issues related to cyber security and compliance program are essential. There is a dire need for security procedures to fit in the overall information security documentation library. As a result, I can realize the importance of consistency in the implementation of security controls in my area of operation to avoid cases of a security breach.

Security policy plays an essential role in protecting professionals and the organization as a whole. The plan should also outline the responsibilities of all workers in my organization while considering the kind of information which has to be safeguarded in the process. For instance, in my area of work, evidence has to be protected from landing in the wrong hands, which can trigger miscarriage of justice.
