NAEYC Health Standards

NAEYC Health Standards

The early years of children act as the basis of their imminent development and provide a solid base for lifetime learning and learning abilities, including cognitive and social growth. Therefore, early childhood education is essential as it can act as a building block for the future success of children.

Parents and guardians need to know NAEYC health standards as it can help them to choose the right programs for their children. Engaging children in educative programs can play an essential role in bringing up responsible members of society. Besides, taking children to programs offered by highly qualified individuals is very significant as children are taught how to speak up for themselves when faced with difficult situations (Olson $ Hyson, 2005). Besides, the programs ensure that the health of the children is well taken care of to prevent cases of disease infections. If sick children are identified, they are given medical attention, and those that require seclusion are secluded to avoid the spread of the disease.

Knowledge of NAEYC standards can help create a healthy environment as it gives individuals the ability to promote the healthy living of youngsters and teachers from illnesses and injury. For youngsters to fully develop and achieve academic qualifications, they must be safe and healthy (Olson $ Hyson, 2005). Besides, knowledge of NAEYC standards can also help individuals come up with the right strategies to teach children while considering their cultural and social status.

The promotion of staff competency is one way of promoting child health. The established program should employ and support teachers who possess the required academic qualifications essential for the promotion of child education and to come to the aid of families with various needs (Olson $ Hyson, 2005). Educators who have unambiguous culture and skills in child development have a higher likelihood of providing positive interactions.

In conclusion, there is a dire need for parents to take their children to programs that can impact positively on the lives of their children. A good program should be educative and should take care of both the teacher and the student.
