Why I Enjoy Writing

Writing is a substantial part of life as words give life and the world meaning. Words enable me to effectively and efficiently deliver meaningful information that keeps the world moving. Besides, writing is enjoyable as it makes me feel better about things that frustrate me despite failure to find clear-cut answers.

One of the reasons that make me enjoy writing is its ability to make me utilize my intelligence and critical thinking skills. Writing is not an easy thing to do, as it requires a lot of reading and comprehension (Defazio, Jones, Tennant, & Hook, 2010). Writing is an extension of my speech that indicates the intelligence and level of knowledge in me. Passing of knowledge through writing is easy to refer to and can be accessed by many people at the same time. Besides, it brings out my ability to actively and skillfully conceptualize and apply various information obtained through observation, experience, and communication.

Furthermore, I write as a way to relieve stress. When upset I write down the reasons for being angry which makes me feel better. As a result, I can realize what I was thinking about through articulation of thoughts with actual words (Defazio, Jones, Tennant, & Hook, 2010). Besides, it enables me to process what is going on beneath the surface. As a result, mental health is maintained through avoidance of related mental diseases such as stress and depression.

Besides, writing is also entertaining as it makes me to see the positive side of any given situation. Writing makes me open-minded and hence the possibility to see everything differently. As a result, I can create a healthy relationship in society due to the ability to understand the diverse behaviors and perceptions.

In conclusion, writing is delightful due to its ability to express my feelings and emotions. Sharing different stories through writing is educative to me and helps me solve specific difficulties in life. Also, it plays a significant role in improving societal relationships.
