NR 501 Week 5 Threaded Discussion: Borrowed (non-nursing) Theories Applied to the Nursing Profession

This thread requires you to discuss a borrowed theory and apply it to an issue the APN may encounter. For example, when doing my master’s thesis, I used the the Stress Adaptation Model of Lazarus as a framework to guide my study of the coping mechanisms of family caregivers, as I felt (and still do) that Lazarus’ work on stress and coping was unequaled in the literature.
