SUCCESS
The only individual who can define the term success is oneself as each individual thinks differently about being prosperous in life. Success goes beyond its collective meaning such as possessing a lot of money and being wealthy but is measured with the number of people that lead an advanced life because of what one has created.
Adopting a growth mindset is a step of best-achieving success in life. Individuals who possess a growth mindset believe they can change, develop, and learn through effort and therefore are more likely to achieve success in life (Bostock 33). When things get tough, they come up with new methods to advance their abilities and keep working toward achievement. A growth mindset can be grown by believing that one’s struggles matter. Other than thinking their skills are static, individuals with a growth attitude believe that efforts and smart work can lead to a meaningful life.
Improving emotional intelligence, which is the ability to comprehend, apply, and reason with sentiments, is a contributing factor to success. Persons who are passionately smart are able to comprehend their sentiments and those of others (Bostock 77). Through this, one is able to listen to others, which does not only involve paying attention to what they are saying but also observing their body language. This creates a sense of understanding between the two parties, thus, achievement of success.
The flexibility that particular individuals have to push on and continue trying in the face of adversities is mental toughness. Developing mental toughness is a key aspect of best-achieving success as individuals who possess it see opportunities in the face of challenges. It also brings a feeling of control over individuals’ destinies and confidence in their abilities to prosper and are therefore committed to accomplishing what they started. In conclusion, mental toughness can be improved by believing in self by avoiding negative-talk and focusing on positive energy.
